A Message from Michael

Our people are our strength. During difficult economic times, our government must be focused on real results that help get our economy moving and our people back to work.

What Congress just doesn't understand is that borrowing against our future at an unprecedented rate and growing government on the backs of the taxpayer will not create the private sector jobs that sustain our families.

We need officials that don't just talk about solutions but chart new territory and have the courage to take political risks to be effective for our communities.

This will be a long, aggressive and exciting campaign. In the coming months I will be speaking with each of you about the important issues we all face from the effect taxes and spending have on job creation to our environment, energy and keeping America safe.

It will be a campaign that will bridge political parties and bring people together. I look forward to working with my neighbors in Staten Island and Brooklyn to bring innovative ideas, new energy, fiscal respect back to our communities.
